The Searcher may enter data into any one or all fields. To facilitate search flexibility, a wildcard "%", may be used and is recommended especially where the name spellings are uncertain. So, as an example entering "mary%" in the "First_Name" field would yield all births for a given year having first names with beginning letters "mary" (eg. mary, maryjane, maryann. . )
Each marriage record has 20 associated view/search fields;
Field Specifications:
Groom_Last_Name: Alpha string (a-z), 16 characters max. length, no special characters; spaces allowed; not case sensitive.
Groom_First_Name: Alpha string (a-z), 16 characters max. length, no special characters; spaces allowed; not case sensitive.
Groom_Middle_Initial: One Alpha string (a-z), 1 characters max. length; not case sensitive.
Groom_Age: 2 digit numbers, (eg. 19).
Groom_Race: Alpha string (a-z), "white", "negro" or "other"; not case sensitive.
Groom_Residence: Alpha string (a-z), 16 characters max. length, no special characters; spaces allowed; not case sensitive.
