• 1905-1995; 24+ million names, Robust-SQL:

  For Premium Search Members, selecting this database link will cause the following data entry form to appear:
  

  

  Recommended Use: The Searcher may enter data into any one or all fields, however it is recommended that only one be used. In the event that the potential results are impracticably long (eg. Last_Name="Smith") then other field entries can be sparingly used.

  To facilitate search flexibility, a wildcard "%", may be used and is recommended especially where the name spellings are uncertain. So, as an example entering "mary%" in the "First_Name" field would yield all births for a given year having first names with beginning letters "mary" (eg. mary, maryjane, maryann. . )

  Non-Members are restricted to only Last_Name (or Surname) entries in their searches.

  Search Results:
  Both Members and non-Members will attain identical search results parameters however.

  Each search entry and results has 9 associated fields; Last_Name, First_Name, Middle_Name, Birth_Year, Birth_Month, Birth_Day, Mothers_Last_Name, Sex, Birth_County.

  Field Specifications:

  • Last_Name: Alpha string (a-z) of any length, no special characters or spaces; not case sensitive.
  • First_Name: Alpha string (a-z),first eight characters, no special characters or spaces; not case sensitive.
  • Middle_Name: Alpha string (a-z),first eight characters, no special characters or spaces; not case sensitive.
  • B_yr: The exact four digit year of Birth (ie. 1950).
  • B_mo: The exact two digit month of Birth, 01 thru 12 (leading zero required).
  • B_dy: The exact two digit day of Birth, 01 thru 31 (leading zero required).
  • Mothers_Last_Name: Alpha string (a-z),first eight characters, no special characters or spaces; not case sensitive.
  • Sex: Male or Female; not case sensitive.
  • County_of_Birth: Enter exact County name including spaces.

  Each name entry has 17 associated fields:

  • County_of_Birth: Enter exact County name including spaces (ie. LOS ANGELES).
  • Code: Four digit Hospital Code .
  • B_yr: Four digit year of Birth of child (ie. 1996).
  • B_mo: Two digit month of Birth of child, 01 thru 12 (leading zero required).
  • B_dy: Two digit day of Birth of child, 01 thru 31 (leading zero required).
  • Sex: "M" or "F"; not case sensitive.
  • BR: Two digit Race/Ethnicity Code of child. See Race/Ethnic Group Code.
  • M_yr: Exact four digit year of Birth of Mother (ie. 1996).
  • M_mo: Exact two digit month of Birth of Mother, 01 thru 12 (leading zero required).
  • M_dy: Exact two digit day of Birth of Mother, 01 thru 31 (leading zero required).
  • MR: Two digit Race/Ethnicity Code of Mother. See Race/Ethnic Group Code.

  • F_dy: Two digit day of Birth of Father, 01 thru 31 (leading zero required).
  • FR: Two digit Race/Ethnicity Code of Father. See Race/Ethnic Group Code.

  This is an index of live births prior to January 1955 and as far back as about 1875.
  Selecting this database will lead to a page where a search box requests an entry of a Surname.

  This is an index of live births with 18 data fields per Subject and roughly 15,000 more entries than the 1905-1997 database for a given year. (Only 1950 is provided at this time).
